Department of Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy was established at Mazaya University College in the academic year 2012-2013.

The department is an integrated system of pharmacy sciences committed to a high degree of excellence in pharmaceutical education. The Department of Pharmacy has implemented a new and developed program according to a curriculum that is completely identical to the unified curriculum of the faculties of pharmacy and approved by the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Pharmacy and by the Supervision and Academic Evaluation Authority According to document No. JT / 203 in 13/1/2010.

Department vision:

The Department of Pharmacy at Mazaya University College aspires to be a pioneer in the field of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Its goal is to improve the provision of pharmaceutical care, in pursuit of a distinguished future in improving and developing medical and human services.

Our Message:

The department is responsible for achieving the following:

1. Educating students to be leaders in the pharmaceutical care of patients and the whole community.

2. Community service through public service activities that meet the community's needs for pharmaceutical information.

3. Training students through systematic pharmaceutical training programs and summer training courses, which were designed to be effective, flexible, and easy to apply in line with the continuous development of the profession.

Department goals:

1. Improving the quality of materials, theoretical and practical, for the students of the Pharmacy Department.

2- Focusing on the training of pharmacy students, by supervising the training of students in many medical facilities and hospitals, with the aim of obtaining various practical experiences and providing prescriptions, and medical and therapeutic consultations for patients.

3- Providing medical facilities, particularly hospitals, with distinguished competencies with high scientific qualifications.

4- Adapting to the changing needs of students and continuing to offer curricula and materials that focus on education for employment through the preparation of scientific cadres dealing with modern technologies and in line with the changes taking place in the field of work to achieve international standards in university academic education.
