The goal of the Computer Engineering Technology program is to provide students with a high quality applications-oriented undergraduate education based on state-of-the-art technology as a preparation for productive employment in the broad field of microcomputer applications. This goal is achieved through continual updating of course content to ensure relevance to the latest industrial changes, supporting the development of appropriate computer facilities, promoting the integration of advanced computer technology in all courses, and encouraging professional growth and development of the faculty.

Civil engineers have been leading infrastructure developments since the dawn of time. The building of bridges and foundations, environmental and transportation systems have, and always will, be an important part of the growth of a modern society. The Department of Civil Engineering at MPU provides a comprehensive undergraduate education required for private practice and public service in civil engineering.

1. شمول جميع الطلبة الخريجين من قسم تقنيات المختبرات الطبية بالتعيين المركزي والتدرج الطبي في وزارة الصحة العراقية.

2. اجراء التدريب الصيفي لطلبة القسم في المختبرات التابعة للمستشفيات الحكومية في وزارة الصحة.

3. الاستفادة من الخبرات العمليةللأطباء في الوزارة من خلال تكليفهم بتدريس بعض المواد ذات الطابع التخصصي الطبي في القسم.

يتطلع القسم إلى أن يكون في المقدمة على صعيد التعليم الطبي التقني الحديث ويسعى إلى إعداد خريجين مؤهلين جيدا للاستجابة للاحتياجات الصحية والعلمية المتزايدة على الساحة المحلية والدولية.

هو بناء نظام تعليمي يؤدي إلى إعداد كادرتقني طبي قادرين على الاستجابة لاحتياجات الصحية الكاملة للفرد والمجتمع وبالتالي تحسين الوضع الصحي للمجتمع.

The programs of the department qualify the students to become Medical Laboratory Technicians to assist the laboratory physicians in the field of pathology, hematology, biochemistry, serology, and microbiology.The responsibilities of a medical laboratory technician included:Conducting analyses of bodily fluids.Maintaining medical laboratory equipment.Analyzing test results.Collecting samples (fluid or tissue) from patients. Medical laboratory technicians perform general tests related to blood banking, histopathology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology. MLT's may perform laboratory testing in many clinical settings such as hospitals, primary health care centers, reference laboratories, clinics, and bioscience industry.

Enhancing the educational process via its sections in language, literature, and linguistics, the department of English language aims to support the community with graduates who are well-equipped with highly-improved skills and experiences for heading into the diverse fields of professionalism needed for making any possible contribution, specifically, in the area of teaching English as a foreign language by the use of modern trends and technology.

Promoting the university’s thrive to a better position locally and internationally, the department’s basic mission is to work with a modern academic strategy, depending on the best techniques in teaching English around the world, which would guarantee a better result and the success of the new method in creative teaching of the basic sections of language, literature, and linguistics. The department attempts to provide the students with a chance to develop their language skills, mainly listening, reading, writing, and speaking that would bring about proper teaching and communicating capabilities, as well as a place in today’s world where English is used massively for communication and particularly within social media platforms which they might use for academic motivation as well.

The department also aims to improve students’ knowledge of the English language and culture, to guarantee good-quality English speakers. The course is mainly designed to foster students’ use of English creatively and masterfully, in addition, to enhancing their investigative and research skills. The mission of the department is to enable the students express themselves in English language clearly and comprehensively, orally and in writing and acquire an appropriate knowledge of relevant fields within literature and within linguistics. The Department offers different courses for undergraduate level, such as English Linguistics, Literature and English language communication skills. The courses are arranged in a four year program.

يسعى قسم الاعلام في كلية مزايا الجامعة منذ بداية التأسيس 2012 ان يكون صرح حضاري و أكاديمي في مجال الاعلام والاتصال وأحد روافد وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي وابرز المصادر التي ترفد الوسائل الاعلامية بالخريجين القادرين على ممارسة العمل الاعلامي المهني والموضوعي المتسم بالصدق والامانة , وأن يكون أداء القسم بكوادره الادارية والتدريسية ذو كفاءة علمية تمكنهم من مواكبة التطورات الاعلامية المحلية والدولية التي تتسم بالرصانة والجودة والحداثة والارتقاء بخريجي القسم الى مستوى متميز للقدرة على التنافس والمشاركة لرفد سوق العمل الاعلامي بالكفاءات الاعلامية المبدعة .

حمل مسؤولية انجاز رسالة اعلامية مهنية اخلاقية في مجال الاعلام والاتصال , وتأهيل وتزويد الطلبة الخريجين بأحدث الموضوعات والتقنيات والخبرات في مجال العمل الاذاعي والتلفزيوني لتلبية حاجة سوق العمل الاعلامي المحلي والدولي .

تنطلق أهداف قسم الاعلام من الأسس الرئيسة لكلية مزايا الجامعة والتي تركز على المعرفة والفكر والتدريب لدى الطلبة وحثهم على الدراسة والتحليل والبحث العلمي والاعلامي بشكل خاص وتحري الدقة والامانة والموضوعية ليكون الاعلام في خدمة المجتمع من خلال :

1 – مواكبة التطور المتسارع المتخصص بالنظام الاعلامي والقواعد المهنية والاخلاقية والتشريعات الصادرة من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي .

2 – متابعة التطوارات الاعلامية في مجال الانتاج والاعلان والتسويق الاذاعي والتلفزيوني .

3 – تدريب الطلبة على أحدث الوسائل والاجهزة والتقنيات الفنية في الاستوديو الاعلامي لتطوير مهارات الطلبة الاعلامية والفنية .

4 – تجهيز بيئة اعلامية تحفز الطلبة على التميز والابداع وتنمية القدرات والمهارات الشخصية . 

5 – التعاون مع وسائل الاعلام المحلية والدولية لتوفير فرص تدريب الطلبة على العمل الاذاعي والتلفزيوني .

6 – تعزيز التعاون البحثي والاعلامي لقسمنا مع المؤسسات الاعلامية والجامعات المحلية والعربية

7 – الاعتماد على كوادر تدريسية كفوءة من حملة الشهادات العليا ولديهم خبرات ومواهب اعلامية تؤهلهم بتدريس الطلبة أحدث العلوم والمعارف الاعلامية في مجال الاذاعة والتلفزيون.

The Department of Media at Mazaya University College, since the beginning of its establishment in 2012, seeks to be a civilized and academic edifice in the field of Media and Communication and one of the tributaries of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also seeks to be one of the most prominent sources that supply the media with graduates who can practice professional and objective media work with honesty and trustworthiness. It also seeks to develop the performance of its staff with scientific competence that enables them to keep pace with local and international media developments that are characterized by sobriety, quality, and modernity, and to raise the department’s graduates to a distinguished level of ability to compete and participate to supply the media market with creative media competencies.

Carrying the responsibility of conveying a professional and ethical message in the field of Media and Communication, and qualifying and providing students with the latest topics, techniques, and experiences in the field of radio and television work to meet the needs of the local and international media market.

The objectives of the Media Department stem from the main foundations of Mazaya University College, which focus on the knowledge, thought, and training of students and urge them to study, and analyze scientific and media research, and investigate accuracy, honesty, and objectivity so that the media is in the service of society through:


1. Keeping pace with the rapid development in the media, professional and ethical rules, and legislation issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.


2. Following the media developments in the field of production, advertising, and radio and television marketing.


3. Training students on the latest means, devices, and technical techniques in the media studio to develop students' media and technical skills.


4. Preparing a media environment that motivates students to excel, be creative, and develop personal abilities and skills.


5. Cooperating with local and international media ageniagencies to provide training opportunities for students on radio and television work.


6. Strengthening the research and media cooperation of our department with local and Arab media institutions and universities.


7. Relying on efficient teaching cadres who hold higher degrees and have media experiences and talents that qualify them to teach students the latest media knowledge in the field of radio and television.

تأسس قسم الصيدلة في كلية مزايا الجامعة في العام الدراسي 2012- 2013م .

القسم عبارة عن منظومة متكاملة من علوم الصيدلة تلتزم بدرجة عالية من الامتياز في التعليم الصيدلي. و قد قام قسم الصيدلة بتنفيذ برنامج جديد ومتطور وفق منهاج مطابق تماماً لمنهاج كليات الصيدلة الموحد و المعتمد من قبل لجنة عمداء كليات الصيدلة و المصادق عليه من قبل جهاز الاشراف و التقويم العلمي بموجب كتابه المرقم ج ت /203 في 13/1/2010 .

يتطلع قسم الصيدلة في كلية مزايا الجامعة الى ان يكون رائدا في مجال تطوير التعليم الصيدلاني و البحث بالاضافه الى الارتقاء بتقديم الرعاية الصيدلانية سعيا الى مستقبل متميز في تحسين و تطوير الخدمات الطبيه و الانسانيه

يحمل القسم على عاتقه تحقيق ما يلي :

1- تعليم الطلبة حتى يكونوا قادة في العناية الصيدلانية للمرضى و كافة المجتمع .

2- خدمة المجتمع من خلال انشطة الخدمة العامه التي تلبي احتياجات المجتمع للمعلومات الصيدلانية .

3- تدريب الطلاب من خلال برنامج التدريب الصيدلاني المنهجي و التدريب الصيفي الذي صمم ليكون فعالا و مرنا و سهل التطبيق ليتماشى مع التطور المستمر و المتغير في مهنة الصيدلة .

1- تحسين نوعية المواد و المقررات الدراسية النظرية و العملية للطلاب لتنعكس ايجابيا على نوعية خريجي قسم الصيدلة .

2- التركيز على التدريب الخاص بطلاب الصيدلة و ذلك من خلال الاشراف على تدريب الطلاب في العديد من المنشآت و المستشفيات الطبيه و ذلك بهدف الحصول على خبرات عملية متنوعه في مجال صرف الادوية و العقاقير و تقديم الوصفات و الاستشارات الطبيه و العلاجية للمرضى .

3- تزويد المنشآت الطبية و تحديدا المستشفيات بكفاءات متميزة حاصله على مؤهلات علمية عاليه .

4-التكيف مع الاحتياجات المتغيره للطلبة و الاستمرار في طرح مناهج و مواد دراسية تركز على التعليم من اجل التوظيف من خلال اعداد ملاكات علمية تتعامل مع التقنيات الحديثة و بما يتلائم مع التغييرات الحاصلة في ميدان العمل لبلوغ المعايير الدولية في التعليم الاكاديمي الجامعي .

The Department of Pharmacy was established at Mazaya University College in the academic year 2012-2013.

The department is an integrated system of pharmacy sciences committed to a high degree of excellence in pharmaceutical education.  The Department of Pharmacy has implemented a new and developed program according to a curriculum that is completely identical to the unified curriculum of the faculties of pharmacy and approved by the Committee of Deans of the Colleges of Pharmacy and by the Supervision and Academic Evaluation Authority According to document No. JT / 203 in 13/1/2010.




The Department of Pharmacy at Mazaya University College aspires to be a pioneer in the field of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Its goal is to improve the provision of pharmaceutical care, in pursuit of a distinguished future in improving and developing medical and human services.



The department is responsible for achieving the following:

1. Educating students to be leaders in the pharmaceutical care of patients and the whole community.

2. Community service through public service activities that meet the community's needs for pharmaceutical information.

3. Training students through systematic pharmaceutical training programs and summer training courses, which were designed to be effective, flexible, and easy to apply in line with the continuous development of the profession

1. Improving the quality of materials, theoretical and practical, for the students of the Pharmacy Department.

2- Focusing on the training of pharmacy students, by supervising the training of students in many medical facilities and hospitals, with the aim of obtaining various practical experiences and providing prescriptions, and medical and therapeutic consultations for patients.

3- Providing medical facilities, particularly hospitals, with distinguished competencies with high scientific qualifications.

4- Adapting to the changing needs of students and continuing to offer curricula and materials that focus on education for employment through the preparation of scientific cadres dealing with modern technologies and in line with the changes taking place in the field of work to achieve international standards in university academic education.
