  • The Vision.

The Department of Media at Mazaya University College, since the beginning of its establishment in 2012, seeks to be a civilized and academic edifice in the field of Media and Communication and one of the tributaries of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It also seeks to be one of the most prominent sources that supply the media with graduates who can practice professional and objective media work with honesty and trustworthiness. It also seeks to develop the performance of its staff with scientific competence that enables them to keep pace with local and international media developments that are characterized by sobriety, quality, and modernity, and to raise the department’s graduates to a distinguished level of ability to compete and participate to supply the media market with creative media competencies.

Carrying the responsibility of conveying a professional and ethical message in the field of Media and Communication, and qualifying and providing students with the latest topics, techniques, and experiences in the field of radio and television work to meet the needs of the local and international media market.

  • The Objectives.

The objectives of the Media Department stem from the main foundations of Mazaya University College, which focus on the knowledge, thought, and training of students and urge them to study, and analyze scientific and media research, and investigate accuracy, honesty, and objectivity so that the media is in the service of society through:


1. Keeping pace with the rapid development in the media, professional and ethical rules, and legislation issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.


2. Following the media developments in the field of production, advertising, and radio and television marketing.


3. Training students on the latest means, devices, and technical techniques in the media studio to develop students' media and technical skills.


4. Preparing a media environment that motivates students to excel, be creative, and develop personal abilities and skills.


5. Cooperating with local and international media ageniagencies to provide training opportunities for students on radio and television work.


6. Strengthening the research and media cooperation of our department with local and Arab media institutions and universities.


7. Relying on efficient teaching cadres who hold higher degrees and have media experiences and talents that qualify them to teach students the latest media knowledge in the field of radio and television.
